FAQ

  • Where are you located?

I have a small home studio in Milton, Florida. I’m located behind Big Lots, on Old Bagdad. To maintain privacy, the exact address will be sent in a confirmation email after booking.

  • Are your classes suitable for beginners, and do I need any prior strength or flexibility to join?

Classes are designed for various levels and include modifications to suit your abilities and goals. No prior strength or flexibility is required! Both will improve naturally as you train. We gradually focus on building strength, mobility, and technique to support your progress.

  • If I am brand new to pole/aerial (or fitness in general), what can I expect in my first class?

Your first class will begin with a general warm-up, followed by introductory movements on your chosen apparatus (pole, silks, or sling). This helps you get comfortable and build confidence right away. After that, we’ll focus on foundational techniques that are customized to your unique needs and goals.

With my small class sizes (just 1-3 students), every session is personalized based on the clients. Everyone has different strengths and limitations depending on their anatomy and movement background, so classes are never a one-size-fits-all experience. Variations and options are always provided!

  • Is there a weight limit for pole or aerial?

While I would love to accommodate everyone, the equipment I use is rated for a weight limit of 300 pounds.

If you weigh over 300 pounds, I’d be happy to refer you to a local studio that has equipment rated for higher limits.

  • I want to take classes, but you don't offer a time that works for me. What are my options?

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to explore scheduling options! I’m always happy to add a group class or offer a private session when there’s interest. My current schedule usually reflects what students are booking most, so if there’s something you’d love to see that’s not listed, don’t hesitate to ask! I can teach yoga, flexibility, HIIT, strength training, pole, silks, sling, or lyra. You’re welcome to text me at 850-750-2086 to chat about what might work best for you.

  • What should I wear to aerial and pole classes?

For aerial, wear fitted clothing that covers the backs of your knees and armpits, such as leggings and a fitted top. This helps protect your skin as you get used to the movements. Crop tops are NOT recommended.

Pole is typically the opposite! Shorts and a sports bra or tank top are recommended to allow skin contact with the pole, which provides grip. However, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you’re unsure about a particular class, just send me a message!

    Additional Tips:

Avoid lotion on the day of class, as it can make gripping difficult.

Do NOT wear jewelry, as it poses a safety hazard and can damage equipment.

  • What safety measures are in place?

Pole and aerial arts do come with risks, but your safety is always my top priority. I use a professional-grade circus rig for aerial work, designed for stability and reliability, along with an 8-inch crash mat for low-to-the-ground skills and a 36-inch gymnastics mat for higher moves. The pole is securely ceiling-mounted, offering greater safety than standard tension-mounted options. I’m always nearby to spot during inverted tricks or new movements, and I provide a pole safety mat for added protection during these skills.

  • "But I'm too [old, fat, weak, stiff, uncoordinated, etc.] to do aerial/pole/yoga!

I’ve heard all the above excuses, and honestly, that’s just fear trying to hold you back. It’s not easy being new at something, especially as an adult. It’s okay if your first class feels awkward or challenging. We’ve all been there. If you stick with it, you will get stronger, more confident, and more capable. Show up, stay consistent, and give yourself permission to have fun and be a beginner again!
