Beach Wedding & Elopement FAQ

Do you photograph all types of weddings?

No — I only photograph small beach weddings and elopements.

  • Guest limit: 50 people max

  • Beach settings only

What are your rates?

  • $350 per hour (Minimum 2 hours at this price point)

  • $400 flat for a single hour

How much time should we book?

  • 1 hour – Ideal for elopements (vows + couple portraits)

  • 1.5 to 2 hours – For small weddings, including family portraits

How many photos do we get?

You’ll receive around 40–60 edited images per hour.
Images are delivered in a private online gallery with full download + print rights.

When will we get our photos?

  • Sneak peek or mini gallery: within 2 weeks

  • Full gallery: within 1 month

What’s the best time of day for a beach wedding or elopement?

Golden hour (just after sunrise or before sunset) gives the most beautiful light. I’ll help you choose the best time!

Should we bring anything?

Yes! Consider:

  • Blanket or towel (for seated photos)

  • Vow books, rings, flowers, invites, or anything personal you’d like me to document

  • Lip balm, water, or hair ties

What if we’re late?

Your session will still end at the scheduled time.
If you need more time and I’m available, you can extend the session at $350 per hour.

What if the weather is bad?

If the weather makes shooting unsafe, we’ll reschedule.
Cloudy skies are fine — they actually create gorgeous light!

Is editing included?

Yes!

Can we request changes to the photos after the gallery is finished?

You get 1 hour of free re-editing, covering:

  • Up to 4 images, or

  • 1 overall gallery tweak (like lighting or color tone)
    Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Do we get all the photos?

No. Only the best images are selected and edited.
Unedited/RAW files are not included.

Can we print and share our photos?

Absolutely! All sessions include a print and sharing license.
(Just don’t resell or claim as someone else’s work.)

Will our photos be posted online?

Possibly — I love sharing my work!
If you would like to keep them private, please let me know in writing.

How long will our gallery be available?

Your gallery stays live for 3 weeks. Please download your images during that time.

What’s your payment policy?

  • 25% retainer due to book (non-refundable unless canceled due to weather)

  • Final balance due by the session

  • Editing starts after full payment is received

Can we cancel or reschedule?

Yes — you can reschedule once within the same calendar year.
If no date is confirmed within 30 days, the retainer is forfeited.
Once the session happens, the balance is non-refundable.

What if YOU can’t make it?

If I’m unavailable due to an emergency, I’ll try to reschedule or refer a trusted replacement.
If neither is possible, you’ll receive a full refund.
